Experience
Dusan Sajic, MD, PhD is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Anti Aging Medicine Physician. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct), Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University. Dr. Sajic developed Derma Skin Institute to provide medical and cosmetic dermatology patients access to state-of-the-art technology and treatments. As a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Academy of Dermatology
Over the last two decades, Dr. Sajic has implemented industry-leading technology to pioneer new, non-invasive aesthetic skincare therapies, establishing himself as one of North America’s leading skincare innovators. Working in hand with other industry leaders, he conducts phase II – IV studies in medical and cosmetic dermatology to enhance and evaluate the safety and effectiveness of next generation skincare products. Dr Sajic Dusan has published numerous articles in high profile journals, and continues to be involved in innovative research in both medical and cosmetic dermatology
Education
Dr. Sajic completed an Honors B.Sc. in Biology and Biochemistry followed by a Ph.D. in Molecular Immunology, Virology and Inflammation at McMaster University. He did his medical training at the University of Western Ontario followed by a residency in Dermatology at the University of Toronto.
During his studies, he was one of the few men to be awarded the Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship Award – an award designed to develop leadership potential in candidates who have shown early promise through exceptional activities. Furthermore, he was awarded a prestigious Principal Investigator Research Grant from the Canadian Dermatology Foundation during his final year of residency.
